Sandra Featherman 2004

President of the University of New England, she has made notable contributions to academia, public schools and community life in Philadelphia. Formerly a Temple University professor, she is a trustee of the Community College of Philadelphia and was president of the Pennsylvania Federation of Community College Trustees. She is recognized as a leader of the 1960s movement for public school reform.
