Katherine Detre 2003

An internationally respected physician and medical researcher, she has been honored for her able and determined leadership in large diabetes and cardiovascular clinical trials. A Distinguished Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, her pioneering work in public health has significantly enhanced health care for people around the world.
