Jane C. Burger

Jane C. Burger has generously shared her visionary, creative and effective leadership to enhance community services throughout Western Pennsylvania. Focusing her efforts on improving the lives of women, children and families through education and economic development, her work includes her service as Executive Director of the Grable Foundation as well as the Frick Educational Commission, Chair of the Board of her alma mater Chatham University, and President of the Board of the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation. She has been a driving force behind the economic development of the village of Slippery Rock and a key leader of the FISA Foundation, the Greater Pittsburgh YWCA, and the Allegheny County Conference for Economic Development.

A trusted and respected facilitator, team builder and mentor, Jane’s talents as a bold, innovative organizational strategist and steward of community resources have benefitted countless nonprofits in the region.

While always preferring to work quietly behind the scenes, her innate leadership abilities have resulted in innumerable successful programs with far-ranging positive impact throughout the state.
